As we enter the last days of 2016, many of us will be hoping for good things to come and wondering what next year holds. Perhaps you have New Year’s resolutions brewing to take better care of yourself, to be more patient, or to live more fully.
In order to give yourself the best chance at following through on these intentions, I have created this guided practice, specifically for our Vital Plan community, to help start the new year off fresh.
Taking some time to reflect on 2016 is a great way to honor this year’s place in our individual and collective histories, while making space for our goals and dreams for the future. Was 2016 filled with everything you hoped for? Were there surprises and upsets?
Most of us arrive at the year’s end with many unprocessed thoughts and emotions. If ignored, those thoughts and emotions can become stuck in the body and manifest as physical and mental tension, perpetuating a cycle of imbalance. Being aware of this and cultivating gratitude where possible is a wonderful practice that you can use to keep your life flowing.
We invite you set aside 10 minutes for yourself and listen to the guided practice below. It will take you through the process of reflecting, appreciating, and moving forward in preparation for a new year filled with health and well-being.
