Healthy vanilla overnight oats are a favorite breakfast item at the Vital Plan office. Not only is this recipe incredibly easy to make, it is also filled with nutritious ingredients that can be combined for endless flavor combinations.
1 cup of almond milk
½ cup rolled oats (not instant)
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp chia seeds
Additional mix ins:
Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, dates)
Honey or agave nectar
Simply combine all ingredients in a glass jar and allow to soak in the fridge for at least 3 hours or overnight. The mixture can also be heated if you prefer it warm. Enjoy your healthy vanilla overnight oats!
