Overview
Vital Plan is seeking an organized, tech‑savvy, and service‑oriented Customer Support & Program Specialist to support both our customer support operations and the member experience within our flagship program, RESTORE180™.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people feel supported and confident, is comfortable and efficient working across multiple digital tools, and cares deeply about thoughtful, human‑centered service.
About the Role
This role provides critical day‑to‑day support for our customer support team and works closely with our Community Manager and Director of Customer Success to ensure members feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they move through RESTORE180™.
RESTORE180™ is a 6‑month guided health recovery program that combines functional health principles, personalized support, potent herbal formulations, and a deeply engaged member community. We believe healing happens best when people feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for — not rushed or treated like a ticket number.
You’ll be trained across our core platforms — Gladly (customer support), Mighty Networks (community and program delivery), and supporting tools — and will play a hands‑on role in member onboarding, communication, and ongoing program support.
As our programs grow, this role has clear potential to expand in scope and responsibility.

Customer Support & Member Care
- Respond to customer inquiries via Gladly (email and chat), including ordering, account questions, and program access troubleshooting

- Support the Director of Customer Success with day‑to‑day Premium Plan community operations
- Assist with tracking RESTORE180™ customer progress
- Provide backup coverage for the customer support team during high‑volume periods
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail across systems and communications
- Flag recurring issues, unclear documentation, or opportunities to improve the member experience
Experience & Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in customer support, program support, or community‑focused roles
- Experience with help desk or customer support platforms (Gladly and Mighty Networks are a plus)
- Experience supporting online communities, memberships, or coaching programs
- Comfortable running Zoom meetings and being customer‑facing on camera
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Workspace, or similar tools is a plus
- Prior experience with Vital Plan or the RESTORE180™ program is preferred but not required
Schedule & Structure
- Approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for future full‑time growth based on role and company needs
- Some availability during core U.S. business hours (Eastern–Pacific time zones) is required
- Remote role; local candidates preferred but not required
- Hourly position
- Reports to: Director of Customer Success
Who You Are
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new platforms quickly
- A clear, warm communicator — both written and on video
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Passionate about helping people recover from chronic illness and aligned with Vital Plan’s mission
