As a card-carrying member of the fast-food generation, I’m no stranger to digestive health issues.

I grew up eating toaster waffles and breakfast cereal by the boxful; my uncle was a founder of a big fast-food burger chain—eating a hamburger and fries and washing it all down with soda was a rite of passage.

By age 40, as an OB-GYN working long hours and regular night shifts, my vending machine diet, constant stress, and late nights finally caught up with me.

    Great results!

    I have been on Phase 1 of the Vital Plan Diet and the Gut Revival products for 2 months. By eliminating foods causing bloating and gas, and monitoring my body's reactions while increasing each herbal formula serving size, gas and bloating are virtually gone. Due to stomach discomfort, I stopped taking Active Enzymes and using some spices. Greatly improved motility and complete elimination are now a daily occurrence. I can see a reduction in puffiness of my ankles and around my eyes. I will reintroduce AE to see if I can now take them with no discomfort. Finally, I have lost a couple of pounds that I believe are mostly fat because of the change in how my clothes fit.

    I started slowly taking each of the Gut Kit formulas.

    I have seen improvements in less bloating, more frequent and complete elimination, and less gas. I will continue at least another month with this kit and phase 1 of the diet. I had made it to the full dose for over a week, then felt like I had a herx, so I have reduced dosages and will slowly increase them. I still have mild discomfort in my abdomen.

    Prior to that, I tried starting Adaptogen Recovery, 1 for three days, but discontinued due to increased back pain, headache, and general malaise.

    These products are great ! So simple to use with a well thought out blend of herbs. Easy to digest capsules. The gut balance smells wonderful and soothes the digestion. The enzymes are gentle, but supportive. I was on vacation and not following my usual diet of 2 meals a day carefully planned, however with this kit I didn't gain any weight or have any digestive disturbances. I still ate reasonably carefully but 3 larger meals a day and some restaurant eating out occasionally. I like the chlorella which is clean sourced and easy to take with clear instructions and foil packaging.

    Fantastic products

    Worse than before

    I have found no effect or benefit from this. I actually feel even worse than I did before. I even did the diet exactly as they described and it did not help. It seems like they really know what they are talking about but I have found no actually proof to back up their marketing claims.

    Their customer service is friendly but worthless. It’s just polite bulls**t without actually helping. This is nothing more than selling hope to desperate people who want relief.

I’m taking a probiotic. Why isn’t that enough?

The balance of bacteria within your GI tract is as unique to you as your fingerprint. So, while probiotic supplements provide “good” gut flora, there is no guarantee they will establish the right balance for your body. The ingredients in the Gut Revival Kit do a good job of maintaining balance in the microbiome and often negate the need for a probiotic.

I’ve already tried a lot of other things. Will this actually work?

The Gut Revival Kit provides a wide array of support for digestive function and maintaining a healthy gut using well-studied ingredients. Those key elements include: supplementing essential enzymes to support normal digestion; stimulating gut motility and secretion of digestive juices; supporting normal bile flow and liver function; and supporting the microbiome and protective mucous barrier in the gut. When coupled with The Vital Plan Diet, which was designed to allow for easy digestion and optimal balance of the gut microbiome, the results can be remarkable.

Why isn’t a probiotic supplement included in the Gut Revival Kit?

While some experts recommend regularly taking general probiotic supplements, their effectiveness is not well established in the scientific literature and can sometimes make the situation worse.

A general probiotic may provide benefit in some scenarios; however, current research suggests probiotics may be best used for a limited time and using specific strains based on the user’s situation. In general, we find herbal preparations are more effective for most people.
